We begin "training" a litter of pups early on; they are handled and played with, they live in the home, they look
at children as playmates from day one. They look at people as fun, as play, as food, and a warm spot to sleep.
Training "fun" begins in earnest between the fourth and fifth weeks, when we pull out the bird wings and begin to play. This triggers
a very deep response - when the pups smell that wing, it's like watching a deep instinct wake up.
