Week of April 16-22, 2006

All the pups are fully weaned and eating well. They've had their 5-week visit to High Peaks Animal Hospital in Ray Brook, NY and were vaccinated, microchipped and loved on (it's a wild time with 8 pups in the examining room!).

We've been fortunate enough to have an early spring here in the Adirondacks, so even though the grass isn't quite green yet, the ice is off the ponds and the puppies are outside every day. We introduce bird wings, puppy bumpers with various bird scents (duck, pheasant, grouse and goose) and the starter pistol this week.
